My Swarovski order was cancelled today. I received an email to say "my order unfortunately had to be deleted". There was no explanation, just no more order. This was a bit puzzling. I had a quick look online and saw that while the Meteorite Necklace was still available, the Eyeliner bangle was not. I assumed this was the reason my order was cancelled. But instead of having someone call me or even email an explanation, they just emailed to to say CANCEL! Hmph. Not terribly impressive customer service.
To clarify what actually happened, I both emailed and called them in the morning. I didn't get an answer straight away from either instance but later in the afternoon they called back to say the order was indeed canceled because there was no more stock. The lady who called didn't any offer an alternatives, just sorry. I guess there's nothing she could do now but seriously, if you don't have the stock, you don't make it available online! You definitely shouldn't allow customers to place orders. Something has gone seriously wrong in the process. I would never have expected Swarovski to exhibit such poor processes and customer service.
Another problem that I have with Swarovski, their website isn't very user friendly. Many links take me to the "Dear Customer, The page you have requested is no longer valid." page. Do some usability! Clean up your processes.
