I'm Going to Charge You Anyway (DAMN YOU SWAROVSKI!)

If letting me place an order for an out of stock item, and cancelling a placed order with no explanation wasn't enough, Swarovski has now decided to charge my credit card $160. Either accept my order and charge me money or cancel my order and leave my credit card alone! Don't cancel my order and charge my credit card! Swarovski is truly ridiculous at e commerce.

Unacceptable errors:

  • The online website let me place an order for an item that is not available. I would have been less upset if I hadn't wanted the bangle so much. My hopes were raised immensely and then sent crashing two days later when the order was cancelled.

  • No explanation was given for why my order was cancelled two days after the intial order was placed. An email was simply sent to inform me of the cancellation. When I tried to replace the order, I saw that the item I had wanted to buy was no longer available and suspected availability was the reason for the cancellation. I had to call Swarovski to find out the actual reason for the cancellation. It would have been if a reason was given to me straight up or some sort of offer of an alternative product was made. Or something? Anything?

  • My credit card was charged for an order that was cancelled. I was told there was no hope of receving my items yet $160 has been removed from my credit card.
